Kenny graduated from Burges High School in May 1971 and from UTEP in May 1975 with a Bachelor of Science in Social Work. She worked in various jobs as a Social Worker in El Paso and the Midland/Odessa area and then in December, 1990 she received her Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin. Her final job was as a counselor at Gadsden High school in the upper valley where she worked for a number of years. She took a medical retirement in the fall of 2012. She is survived by her father, Royce, her mother, Joan, her brother, Royce Cleveland III and wife, Synde, her nephew, Baron Cleveland and wife Miriam and their two sons and two daughters, uncle George and aunt Jean Adams and family, and cousin, Michael Walker. Kenny was an excellent counselor and well liked by all the students she served. She loved horses and riding and owned at least one horse most of her adult life. She was dearly loved by all her family and had some friends that were truly examples of true friendship. Two of those true friends were Laurie Barnett and Letty Mora. She dearly loved the Lord and will be greatly missed by all her family and friends and we’re sure she has found her place with the Lord in Heaven.
