Leoncio G. Solis

Resident of El Paso formerly of Chicago Illinois.

Born in Veracruz Mexico beloved son to the late Angela Solis and Trinidad Gonzalez.

Devoted brother to Emma ,Mercedes and Perfecto.

He migrated to the States in 1957 looking for a better life for his family.

American Dental Lab contracted him as a Dental technician. He eventually set up his own lab and was self employed.

He loved his work. He was affectionately known as “Leo” by his friends and colleagues.

He also loved his roses in the garden and his morning walks.

He enjoyed staying current in the news and reading the Sunday paper.

He also enjoyed listening to classical music and the theater.

He was a man who loved to build with his hands and did not stop until his later years, he did not want to stay idle.

But most of all he loved his family. He will be truly missed by his children

Maria Cerven, Aida Hanson , Consuelo Lyons, Eric John Solis, Eva Solis and Iliana Paula Solis, along with his 16 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

He fought valiantly through his cancer diagnoses; he did not let it slow him down.

He is our hero.
