Leopoldo is survived by son Edwin Diaz; son James Diaz; daughter Ruby Diaz; and daughter Corina Zubiate; brother Roberto Diaz, brother Arturo Diaz, brother Mario Diaz, brother Jesus Diaz and sister Alejandrina Borges.
Leopoldo was preceded in death by his wife Manuela Diaz; brother Carlos Diaz; sister Maria Diaz de Cabrera and sister Emilia Sapien.
A visitation for Leopoldo will be held Monday, June 7, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 North Carolina Dr., El Paso, Texas 79915. A vigil will occur Monday, June 7, 2021 at 3:00 PM, 1060 North Carolina Dr., El Paso, Texas 79915. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Saint Mark Catholic Church, 11700 Pebble Hills Blvd, El Paso, Texas 79936. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at 11:30 AM at Mt Carmel Cemetery, 401 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, Texas 79907.
