Leroy H. Sheldon

Leroy H. Sheldon, 77, passed away on March 8, 2015 in El Paso Texas. He was born on August 29, 1937 to Arlis Larson Sheldon and Beatrice Garcia. He is survived by his wife: Mary Sheldon; daughter: Sylvia Marin; 3 grandchildren: Jovanna Gallardo, Rachael Gallardo, Anthony Flores; 6 great-grandchildren: Alena Ramirez, Alexis Ramirez, Leanna Rodriguez, Ivan Espino, Naeveh Flores and Nadia Flores; brothers: Gilbert Sheldon and Manuel Mendoza. Leroy was born and raised in El Paso, Texas and a proud graduate of Jefferson High School Class of 1955. He honorably served in the US NAVY where he was given the Good Conduct Medal in June of 1959. He loved playing Pool with his team the Pool Hounds. Pallbearers will be Anthony Flores, Gilbert Sheldon, Chris Sheldon, Steven Avila, Manuel Mendoza and Robert Martin. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 pm on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Hillcrest Funeral Home-Carolina with a Vigil Service at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am on Friday, March 13, 2015 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Service under the direction of HILLCREST FUNERAL HOME 1060 Carolina 598-3332
