Lidia Alvarado Madrid, 68 of Vinton, Texas died January 21, 2022 peacefully at her home. Lidia was born November 21, 1953 in Durango, Durango, Mexico to Felipa Favela. She married the love of her life, Miguel Manuel Morales on May 1972, who preceded her in death on March 8, 1985.
In her early life, Lidia worked as a custodian in the Canutillo Independent School District before medically retiring.
Lidia was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Mexican soccer. She also loved listening to music and her favorite artist was Juan Gabriel. When she was younger, she loved to get dressed up to go dancing.
Lidia is survived by her daughter and son: Lidia Balderrama (Mario) and Miguel Morales (Julie); her grandchildren, Mario (Lidia), Sophia (Lidia), Miguel (Miguel), Alex (Miguel), Abraham (Miguel), Jacob (Miguel); her companion and caretaker of 38 years, Guadalupe Ontiveros, her son Tracy and his children Vivian, Sean and Christopher. Lidia is also survived by her siblings, Estela, Arturo, Renaldo David and Sara their spouses and many loving nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her brothers Jesus, Rafael and Sergio.
Memorial services will be held at St. Jude Catholic Church, Friday 3/04/2022 at 10am.
A graveside service will follow at Memorial Pines Cemetery on Friday, 3/04/2022 at 11:30 am.
The family would like to thank the wonderful physicians and staff at WellMed Medical Clinic at Remcon and the El Paso Pain Center West for always being attentive to her care and needs.
