

Lydia Pedroza Rosillo, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2025 at the age of 93. Lydia enjoyed a long and full life and has gone home to the Kingdom of our Heavenly Father to join her beloved husband, Richard.
Lydia was born in El Paso on December 16, 1931 to Cleofas Pedroza and Refugio Santiana Pedroza. She attended Bowie High School and went on to become a trained hairstylist for many years. Lydia loved cats, coffee, Pepsi cola, and was a life long Dallas Cowboys fan. She enjoyed cooking, crochet, and sewing projects of all kinds.
Lydia married the love of her life, Richard Rosillo, in 1956 and was a devoted mother to her daughter, Ysela, and her son, Fernando. Her family was her life and she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Lydia was preceded in death by her husband Richard, her parents Cleofas and Refugio, and her brothers Ricardo and Jose. She is survived by her daughter Ysela Beatrice and her husband Roy; her son Fernando Rosillo and his wife Rachael; her grandson David Beatrice, his wife Joni, and their children Paige, Taelynn, and Gabriele; her grandson Steven Beatrice, his wife Alicia, and their son Maxwell; her grandson Alex Rosillo; her sister Catalina Anaya and her husband Raul; her brother Ramiro Pedroza and his wife Pat; and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral service for Lydia will be held at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 N. Carolina Drive, on Monday, June 2nd, at 11:30 am, followed by internment at Fort Bliss Cemetery.
