Linda Alice Paquian, age 81, of El Paso, Texas passed away on July 30, 2024. She was born March 23, 1943 and is survived by her daughter Cristina Paquian Flores, sons Hector and Paul Paquian as well as her sister Anne Marie Owens. Among her blessings, she had eleven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and various nieces and nephews, in particular, JoAnn Lopez whom she loved like a daughter. She was preceded in death by her mother Penelope L. Molina, sisters, Esperanza Macías and Gloria Torres; brothers Rodolfo and David Leal. She was also preceded by her husband, Alvino Lara, and first husband Jose Hector Paquian.
Linda was blessed with a happy disposition, she loved life, people, music, dancing, and her church Divine Savior Presbyterian, where she served as an elder. She was a member of the Bowie Bear Alumni and maintained lifelong friendships throughout the organization. She was employed as an executive secretary for the El Paso State Center for Mentally Handicapped and ended her career at the El Paso County WIC Programs. She obtained an Associate Degree through the El Paso Community College during her adult years.
Visitation for Linda will be held Monday, August 19, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Restlawn, 8817 Dyer St., El Paso, Texas 79904, followed by a memorial service at 7:00 PM. Private graveside service at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery at later date.
