Lucy G. Taylor, 80, passed away Friday, June 11, 2021. She is preceded in death by her parents Mario and Flora Garcia, her husband Thermon W. Taylor and her grandson Matthew M. Taylor. She is survived by her children: Tommy Taylor, Michael Taylor, and Debra Taylor - Ugalde; Daughter in-laws: Vanessa Taylor, Mary Taylor; Grandchildren: Aaron Taylor, Mark Taylor, Alivia Ugalde, Christian Ugalde, and Jonathan Ugalde; Granddaughter in-law: Arianna Taylor; Great Grandchildren; Amiyah Taylor, Andrea Taylor and Arielle Taylor; Her Sisters: Vera Ortiz, Irma Ontiveros, and Nellie Cardenas; and Her Brothers: Rudy Garcia, Mario Garcia Jr., and Guillermo Garcia.
Lucy G. Taylor was a loving homemaker who always enjoyed the company of her husband, family, and friends. She loved to dance, listen to oldies but goodies music, bake and cook for her family. She also enjoyed bowling with her friends and husband. She went to Jefferson High School and was a dedicated loyal wife for 50 years. She was a loving mother who cared deeply for all her children and grandchildren. She left her family and friends with many loving and happy memories to reminiscence upon. She will be greatly missed by all those that knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held at Crestview Funeral Home, 1462 N. Zaragoza, El Paso, TX. 79936 on Tuesday June 22, 2021, from 5pm - 9pm with a Vigil/Rosary beginning at 6:00pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday June 23, 2021, at 9:00am at Saint Raphael Church. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery at 10:30am.
