This year has been very hard for me mom! I miss you so much.

My mom and your mom were best friend working in El Paso.  Working across the street from each other to keep an eye on each other. My mom's first job taking care of someone's family.  Mom had written that for 5 years they were together best friend's. 

Dearest Becky (Rebeker), Fred and Urban Family,

I am so sorry to hear of your beloved mom’s passing. Please accept my most sincere sympathy and condolences. May God bless you all and give you comfort and strength to ease the pain of your broken hearts.  I will keep you in my prayers.

Dear Mrs. URBAN, 

I will never forget the time I was 16 years old, and we were celebrating Becky's birthday in Juarez. You had gone with us to chaperone. As we were walking to the nightclub, a man passed between me and another gal, and at that moment the man placed his hand on my rear. I must have screamed something because you took off your shoe and chased the man, hitting him with the shoe. We all busted up laughing. I will always remember the loving, spunky lady you were. 
Urban Family,  my condolences to all of you on the loss of your beloved mother. May she Rest in Peace. 

My deepest & heartfelt condolences to you my Rebukies and the entire Urban family. I will always keep little Lucy in my heart. My thoughts & prayers are with you all during this difficult time. 

I remember when we were living at Link Drive you made pbj sandwiches and a pitcher of koolaide. We walked  across the street to that huge tree and we had our picnic there under the tree’s shade. This is my favorite memory. Too bad I can no longer go there as you know the tree is gone and lots of houses were built around that area. I also miss the beautiful stories you said to us when you were little. I hope that one day someone in the family will write it as a children’s book.

Mom mommy mother mama I’m doing it again. I miss you so much and I love you more!

My deepest condolences to you and your family  Rebe.  Your Mama was a beautiful lady that was filled with love and kindness.  Ms. Lucy has left a beautiful legacy in her amazing daughters, sons, many grandchildren,  and her life partner, your Dad. You are in my thoughts and prayers my friend. May God give you strength during these very difficult days.

                          My Earthly Angel My Mother
I always wondered and imagined how God’s angels looked.  Not until years later one day I paid closer attention to my mother’s features and most importantly to her eyes.  Most people say the eyes are the windows to our soul’s however looking at my mother’s eyes at that very moment emanating outward from her eyes I could see and at same moment feel the Kindness, Compassion, and unconditional Love. 
All this time in my life I’ve wondered and imagined what God’s angels really looked like? And all along the Angel was at my very sight My angel my Mother.  Many years have passed and God’s angel has always been by my side nurturing me from infancy and throughout my childhood in the form of my mother.   
Many wonderful memories, years have pass and my Angel has never missed a day in praying to God to strengthen my faith, good health and protecting me from any harm.  My Angel has instilled this very same love in me to pray and have faith in God above to pray each day without fail for my wife, children, grandchildren, siblings, relatives and friends.  
Time has come God is wanting his Angel to come home and now she lays in her bed with shallow breaths and her windows closed.  Oh; how I prayed each day to my Lord to bless me for one more time even if its brief to see the beautiful loving eyes once again.  As I kissed my mother and said my goodbyes the very miracle I prayed and hoped was granted, my Angel’s eyes opened once again seeing her beautiful loving eyes with tears of sorrow and at the same time tears of joy.  
This memory will it ever be in my heart to know my Angel my Mother comforted me with her beautiful eyes before her journey to heaven.  Even with her tears running down her face in that very moment of time in my mind I heard her soft comforting voice, Freddy everything will be alright.   
I am forever thankful God bless me with such a Beautiful Angel My Mother Lucy Urban.
