Born on July 25, 1950 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, he was the son of Salvador Esparza Del Toro and Hilaria Jimenez Proa. He graduated as a mechanical engineer in Guadalajara building a life anchored in hard work and honesty. Beyond his career, he was a man defined by his joyful demeaner and terrible dad jokes. He could always be found watching sports on Saturdays always rooting for his Chivas, listening to music, singing with his powerful voice to his favorite tunes, making his famous ceviche with the tiniest cut carrots, his delicious home-made discada, or his calabacitas en chipotle which he insisted que "no pican" when in fact si pican.
To his children, he was a teacher, a great listener, and a guiding light. He leaves behind his twin girls, Anaid Russo and Denisse Conchas; his grandsons, Luis and Jesus Conchas; his siblings, Ricardo Esparza, Maria Guadalupe Esparza, Juan Carlos Esparza, Salvador Esparza, Sergio Esparza, and Monica Esparza, including multiple nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Paulina; his siblings, Rosa Margarita and Salvador; and his parents, Salvador and Hilaria.
We will love and miss you always, Papo.
