Luis Valenzuela

Luis Valenzuela, 86, beloved brother, uncle and friend, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2018. He was a lifelong resident of El Paso, TX, attended Bowie H.S. and served proudly in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1954. Luis worked for El Paso Alamo Plumbing Supply for many years of services, hard work and dedication. Despite of his labors, Luis enjoyed his work and showed it with a smile and whistling or singing a tune. He enjoyed life to the fullest. Luis was preceded in death by five brothers and five sisters and survived by his brothers: Vidal, David and Rodolfo Valenzuela, sisters: Cruz Valenzuela, Marta V. Moreno, Irene V. Arrieta, Delia Sanchez and several nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mr. Valenzuela will be held Monday, November 5th, 2018 from 5:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. with a vigil at 7:00p.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home-Carolina. Funeral mass will be Tuesday, November 6th at 9:00a.m. at Cristo Rey Catholic Church with interment to follow in Fort Bliss National Cemetery with military honors. Pallbearers will be David, Rodolfo, Joe John and Leo Valenzuela, Miguel Mendoza, Oscar Mendez, David Fabela and Jose Gallegos.
