Lynn was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1943 and was raised by Dorothy and Raymond Buehler and his grandparents Lilly May and Charles Engler. He grew up with his brother Allyn and cousins from his aunt Leone. He went to Rufus King High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and completed coursework for drafting at the North American School of Drafting. Lynn later joined the United States Army and was stationed in El Paso, Texas at Fort Bliss. After being in El Paso, he met his wife of over 50 years, Maria. Lynn and Maria had three children: Manuela, Laura and Lynda.
Lynn is survived by his wife, three children, seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, brother, cousins and friends.
Lynn will live in the hearts and minds of those who knew him and loved him throughout his life. The Buehler family is grateful for all those who surrounded Lynn throughout his lifetime and through the many challenges life brings us. He had an ongoing joke he told his children and grandchildren that he happily told as follows, “Pete and Repeat were walking down the street. Pete fell down. Who was left?” Of course we all said, “Repeat” and he would say it over and over again until we got the joke. We will miss him.
Visitation for Lynn will be held Tuesday, June 13, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Restlawn, 8817 Dyer, El Paso, Texas 79904. Graveside service will be 10:30 AM Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Avenue, El Paso, Texas 79906.
