He was born in 1937 in Mexico and moved from home at a young age to begin a long and wonderful life. He met his loving wife Yolanda of 55 years in 1954. They settled in Socorro, Texas where he built the family home and raised six wonderful children. “Molina,” as he was best known, was a very kind and giving man. He dedicated much of his free time coaching his sons and neighborhood children; teaching them his love of baseball.
He was an incredible cook, great dancer, and loved to listen to music. He especially loved to tell stories, sharing his adventures of growing up in his home town of Camargo, Mexico and moving to the “Norte” at a very young age.
He would always greet you with a smile and welcome you to his home. Quick to offer you a drink and meal. He would ask about your family and made you feel like you were his family. If you needed help, he would help you, if you need advice he would give it and if you just needed to talk he would listen.
His memory will be cherished and kept alive by his loving children, Elizabeth, Lettecia (Luis), Manuel Jr (Rebecca), Gabriela (Alberto), Heriberto (Adriana) and Marco Antonio (Mireya), 16 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren, his brothers Dagoberto, Octavio, Guadalupe and sister María de Jesús Flores. He was preceded in death by his wife Yolanda, parents Longinos and Maria, siblings Guerrero and Rosalia, and grandson José Armando Lopez.
