Marcia Ann Faircloth gently passed away in the morning hours of Wednesday April 18th. Marcia was born on July 17th 1944 in the small Tennessee town of Shelbyville. A southern charmer at heart, she found a special kinship with the desert landscape of El Paso when she and her husband Buddy made an unexpected pit stop on their way West. They decided to start a life together in the Sun City and soon welcomed two blonde haired, blue eyed daughters. Marcia built an amazing life for her family was always known as the "neighborhood mom." Her love and laughter were always present. After battling multiple illnesses, her large heart and soul needed a bigger house and our Lord took her with joy and gave her wings to soar. We can all hear her laughing from Heaven now. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Buddy, her parents Carl and Lucille and her much loved sister, Carol Collins. Marcia is survived by her two daughters, Shannon Brownlow and Kelly Smith. She is also survived by her younger sister Jeanne Hupfer. "Mama" will also be missed by the joy and light of her life, granddaughter Kayla Smith. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at 9:15 AM at Martin Funeral Home West.
