Margarete Yarbrough

Margarete attended high school in Berlin, she developed English language proficiency, typing skills, and studied stenography. From 1939 to 1945, she worked at Daimler Benz (Mercedes Benz) during World War II. After the war, she was employed by the American Army Installation in Berlin, where she met her future husband Wayne Edmond Yarbrough.

They were married in February of 1949 and relocated the United States , starting a family with 2 children. Margarete is predeceased by her husband Wayne Yarbrough.

Surviving family members include John and Sylvia Yarbrough, Tony Yarbrough (Elena Cabello), her grandchildren Jason Yarbrough, Jennifer Landers, and Melissa Yarbrough. Her great- grandchildren, Sarah, Samantha and Nathan Landers and Rubie Yarbrough.

During Margarete final days she resided at Solstice Senior Living where she loved to play Bocci Ball, loved music and enjoyed dancing. She made several friends that cared deeply for her. The family appreciates the outstanding care provided by Sandra, Bertha, Destiny and Jackie with Loving Senior Care Services for the wonderful care she received at the community and during her stay at the hospital.
