Margarita P Martinez, 89, of El Paso Texas passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on 23 July 2026. Margarita was born in El Paso, Texas on April 16, 1937, to Josefa & Tomas Pedregon.
Married on November 27, 1960, she is survived by her husband of 65 years, Jesus M Martinez, and her 3 children, Yvonne (Bonnie) Sanchez, Jesse and John Martinez, 4 grandchildren, Daniel Dominguez and Matthew & Selene Martinez, preceded in death by her grandson Stephen Domiguez. She also had many nieces and nephews.
She was a certified dental assistant for over 30 years and then worked as a secretary at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church. She was a long life member of San Jose Catholic Church.
Viewing and Memorial services will be at Hillcrest Funeral home, 1060 North Carolina Drive from 5 to 9 pm with a rosary at 7 pm on 4 Aug 2026. Funeral Mass with take place at St. Stephen Catholic Church 1700 George Dieter on 5 Aug 2026 at 8:30 am followed by interment at Fort Bliss National Cemetery at 11 pm.
