Margie McKinley Zuloaga, age 82 of Carlsbad New Mexico passed away May 15, 2021 from natural causes. Margie grew up in Roswell New Mexico with her parents Eddie and Mary McKinley, her brothers Jack and John McKinley and her sister Minnie Wright.
She met the love of her life Oscar Zuloaga Sr. in Roswell New Mexico when he was stationed at Holloman Air Force Base. They married and made their home in El Paso Texas. They were married 60 years. They had six children, Elizabeth Zuloaga, Oscar Zuloaga Jr.(Rosy Duran), Sylvia Zuloaga Hernandez (Victor Hernandez), Susan Acevedo, Maria Zuloaga, and Theresa Zuloaga. She had twelve grandchildren Louie Z. Hernandez, Jeannae and Zach Zuloaga, Amber Gavit, Tiffany Mendoza, Megan Acevedo, Franky Michael and Tina Orona, T.J. Paredes, Jori Zuloaga, and Mazi Benecke.
She had eleven great grandchildren Emery and Oliver Gavit, Micheal, Leo and Addison Mendoza, Julian and June Orona, Owen and Liam Orona and Alanah and Jonah Payan.
She was a homemaker who loved to cook, sew, dance, listen to music and spend time with her family. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and role model to many. Her greatest love in life was her family. We are comforted knowing that she is dancing in heaven with the love of her life, her husband Oscar.
