Irene was born on May 23, 1944, and attended Gadsden High School. Most will remember Irene as Chamberino, New Mexico’s, “Postmaster.” Her perseverance, kind heart, charity, and love for her Lord Jesus Christ led her to do what she loved most, to help people.

Irene is survived by her children; Yolanda Alaniz (Santiago), Ramon Aranda (Abril), Enrique Aranda (Cindy), Carmen Aranda, & Margarita Aranda; grandchildren; Dylan Carrillo, Rayshalum Aranda, Nikolai Aranda, Ashton Aranda, Sebastian Aranda, Jacob Alaniz, Nolan Aranda, & Cruz Aranda; step grandchildren; Amber Gonzalez, Sophie & Xander Bustillos; siblings; Pilar Madrid, Rosie Jonas; Ramiro Provencio, Ramon Provencio, George Provencio; Sister-in-laws; Yolanda A Aranda & Maria Elena Aranda;
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 6:00pm on Monday, March 16, 2026 at Funeraria Del Angel Restlawn; 8817 Dyer St, El Paso, TX 79904. Funeral Mass will be 9:30am on Tuesday, March 17th, 2026 at Funeraria Del Angel Restlawn. Committal Service to follow at 11:00am at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
