Maria Concepcion Gandara Toering

Maria Concepcion Gandara Toering (Concha) born September 27, 1932, journeyed to heaven on February 25, 2015. Our beloved aunt leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion and service to others. She was a generous and kind person who helped family, friends and community in many ways. Our hearts ache for the loss of our aunt but she is at peace and left us the gift of strength and faith which we will carry in our hearts. Concha was a lifelong resident of El Paso, Texas and the owner of Gandara-Lang Insurance Agency. She is preceded in death by her husband: William Toering; parents: Antonio and Juana Gandara; brothers: Julio Castro, Pablo Gandara and Luis Gandara. She is survived by her nieces and nephews: Luis Gandara Jr., Carmen Ramirez (Ray), Pauline Martinez (John), Maryann Cortez, Pam Gibson, Patrick Gandara (Trish), Norma Constantin (George), Victor Castro (Jenny), Elizabeth Castro, Mario Cisneros (Linda), Mayra Hernandez (Jody), Alex Cisneros (Martha), Jesus Cisneros; grandnieces & nephews: Vanessa, Kiohod, Rio, Ryann, Anthony, Jason, Jovi, Jia, Ashten, Braxley, Cadeynce, Daughtry, Vicente, Cesar, Delia-Rose, Eli, Monica, Isaac, Angel, Rose, Gabriel, Alessandra and Noviembre. The family is grateful to family and friends that cared for her at the end of her life’s journey. Visitation March 5, 2015 from 5 to 9 pm at Hillcrest Funeral Home-Carolina with Rosary at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass March 6, 2015 at 11:30 am at San Antonio de Padua. Interment Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
