Maria Del Refugio Parker Hernandez, beloved mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to so many. She was resident of El Paso TX, who went to join the Lord on June 29, 2025, at the age of 63. Born in Mexico, Maria moved to El Paso where she attended Irvin High School. She built a loving family with her two daughters, Irene Morales and Maria D Jimenez.
Maria's career was marked by her dedication and hard work. She was employed at Dunkin Donuts and later became the manager at Dairy Queen on McCombs. Her passion for business led her to study Business Management.
Maria had a special talent for cooking, particularly her famous hot salsa, which she loved to share with family and friends. Her kitchen was always filled with warmth and laughter. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren, creating lasting memories that will be treasured forever. Her love for God was endless.
Beloved mother preceded in death by her parents, Irma Concepcion Parker and Frederick W. Parker. She is survived by her two daughters Maria D Jimenez II (Christine Alvarado) and Irene (Joshua) Morales. A loving grandmother to Lydia N. Robles, Aaden R. Shafer and Joshua E. Morales each of whom brought her endless joy and pride. A loving sister to four siblings Magdalena (Frank) Gonzalez, Marine (Bruce) San Filippo, Virgina (Raul) Ramirez, and Frederick (Valerie) Parker. A loving aunt to Irma Valenzuela, Cindy Valenzuela, Jennifer Gonzalez, Raul Ramirez, Isaiah Ramirez, Amber Ramirez and Tye Parker.
Maria was not only a mother and grandmother to her immediate family but also a nurturing figure to many others to include Vicente Rios-Caroll, Melanie Morales, Arista Morales, Zeeta Ramirez, Ayeida Ramirez and Iyana Ramirez. Her kindness and generosity touched the lives of everyone she met.
Maria will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and culinary delights will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
Visitation for Maria will be held Monday, July 14, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Funeraria del Angel Restlawn Funeral Home, 8817 Dyer, El Paso, TX 79904.
