Maria De La Luz Hyder, 96 passed away peacefully October 2, 2014. She is survived by her daughters: Sandra Perez and Josefina Valles; 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Sunday, October 5, 2014 at Hillcrest Funeral Home-Carolina with a Vigil Service at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be at 9:00 am Monday, October 6, 2014 at San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
