Beloved mother and grandmother, Maria Esther Martinez, 76, entered eternal life on May 4, 2026. Maria Esther was well known in the El Paso community for the extraordinary musical talent she possessed. Blessed with a beautiful voice and charisma, Maria Esther is defined as a legendary ranchera vocalist. Aside from her musical background, Maria Esther was also an educator, friend, and a caring human being with a beautiful soul. She leaves behind a legacy that will be remembered by the countless lives she touched. Maria Esther will live on through her daughter, Norlynn Kruk. Her memory will be cherished by her grandchildren, Zeryk Kruk and Liam Kruk. Maria Esther also leaves behind her brothers, Pablo Carrillo, Hector Carrillo, Jaime Carrillo and her sister, Sandra Carrillo.
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 21, 2026, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a Vigil Service at 7 p.m. at Crestview Funeral Home, 1462 N. Zaragoza Rd., 79936. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, May 22, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1050 N. Clark Dr., 79905. Rite of Committal will follow at Evergreen Cemetery East.
