

Born on May 16, 1930, Carmen was known and loved by many for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering compassion. She will be remembered for her beauty, grace, and the genuine care she showed to everyone. Her warmth had a way of brightening the darkest days and making life's joyful moments even more special. Family and friends will forever cherish her loving presence, wisdom, and the countless memories she created with those she held dear.
Carmen is survived by her daughters, Laura Flores (David) and Carmen Chavez (Ernie); her grandchildren, Anahi Diaz Parsons (Bryan), Antonio Diaz, Frank Heredia (Geanna †), Isaac Chavez (Brooklin), Carina Valenzuela (Joe), Desiree Chavez (Harli), and David Jacob Flores (Sabrina); and her great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Carlos Uribe; her daughter Nora Diaz and son-in-law Tony Diaz; and her granddaughter, Geanna Heredia.
Carmen's legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to her family will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who called her Mom, Grandma, and Wita.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St Raphael Catholic Church, 2301 Zanzibar Rd, El Paso, Texas 79925, on June 19, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
Inurnment will take place at Mt Carmel Cemetery, 401 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, Texas 79907, on June 19, 2026, from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm.
