Maria Veale

November 2, 1934 - February 23, 2024

Maria A. Veale, age 89, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 23, 2024. She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be deeply missed. Maria is preceded in death by her parents Serafin and Hortencia Gonzalez, her loving husband, Albert Veale, her son Albert Wesley Veale, her brothers, Serafin Gonzalez Jr., Robert Gonzalez, sisters Ernestina Acosta, Emma McDuff, and Julia Escandon. She is survived by her daughter Sandra Ziehlke (Ronald) grandchildren Travis and Trevor Ziehlke, daughter-in-law Virginia Veale, grandchildren Albert, Susan, and Wesley Veale and 4 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by extended family members and friends to cherish and honor her memory.

A visitation for Maria will be held Wednesday, March 6, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Hillcrest West, 5054 Doniphan Drive, El Paso, TX 79932. A rosary will occur Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at 7:00 PM, 5054 Doniphan Drive, El Paso, TX 79932. A funeral mass will occur Thursday, March 7, 2024 at 9:30 AM at Blessed Sacrament Parish, 9025 Diana Dr, El Paso, Texas 79904. An interment will occur Thursday, March 7, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave., El Paso, Texas 79906.
