Maricella Rodriguez

Born on October 20, 1968 in El Paso, Texas. Maricella was preceded in death by her mother Carolina Rodriguez, father Pedro Rodriguez, and brother Gerardo Rodriguez. Maricella spoke often about how much she missed her mother, dad, and brother: it gives Maricella's family great comfort to know she is with them once again.

Maricella is survived by her siblings, Jose Rodriguez, Pedro Rodriguez, Irma Lopez, Rafael Rodriguez, Elizabeth Vidal, Hector Rodriguez, Edgar Rodriguez, Veronica Medved, nephews, nieces, and cousins. She graduated from Ysleta High School then proceeded to UTEP to pursue a nursing career. She was an excellent nurse and worked for Sierra Medical Hospital for 28 years in the Pediatric Ward. She was and excellent daughter, sister, and friend. She was extraordinarily helpful and caring to family members and other people. A terrific mentor to everyone she new.

A ' Celebration of Maricella's Life' will be held Friday, January 5, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 N Carolina Dr. El Paso, Texas, 79915. A Funeral Mass at Corpus Christi Church will follow at 12:30 p.m.
