I am just now finding out that Marie has passed on. I knew Marie for about 35 years or so. She was friends with me & my ex wife. We had kept in touch sporadically over the years as we are both in Education. I last saw her a few years ago when I had a conference in El Paso. It was right before Covid hit. 
I've texted her Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, Enjoy your summer, Hope your school year goes great, etc. and had no idea. I've even received responses but now I realize someone else must have her number.
She was too young and full of life. This makes me sad. I'm glad I have fond memories of her over the years. 
My sympathy goes out to her family.

My deepest sympathy to the family. I went to high school with Marie and she was a great friend. Although we hadn't talked in around 30 years my heart is sad.

May you rest in peace. When we first met back in 1990, I wasnt "your type". Lol. As we ended up dating for almost 4 years. Although we went our seperate ways I would still remember our time together. You were strong willed and did what you dreamed of doing, teaching deaf education. Our sincere condolences to all.
