As time goes by, Sometimes life hands us a heavy burden, whether sickness or situations, which we can't control. Hello Karim and family...Glenn and Karen Powers writing....We had not seen your Mom in a long time and we will never forget her.  She was  always a delight to be with.  We wish you Karim and  your family all our love and all the best...

Marilu, my dearest friend, and I met back in the 70's while working with Immigration. She was a caring person, always willing to help anyone in need. I know our good Lord has welcomed Marilu into his Kingdom as a faithful servant. I will miss this wonderful woman and her vivacious personality.  My condolences to Karim and his family.

Marilu and my mother and I were neighbors for many years when we lived on Montana Street.  We shared good times and trying times.  But with all the times we shared while neighbors, they were the best.  She helped me through a difficult time in my life which I will always be grateful for.  She was funny always making everyone laugh.  She was a fighter and succeeded in her career and raising her son Karim on her own.  May she be blessed  always and may her son continue to make her proud.  She can now rest peacefully and keep company with my mother too. Nancy Spencer
