My husband and I met Martin through work.  He was a joy!  We are sorry for your loss and wanted you to know you are in our thoughts and prayers. He is irreplaceable.

Martin was a business colleague, we spoke many times on the phone and it was always a pleasure to speak with him.
We met face to face, when I visited his office in Clint Texas. Later we shared a table at the Arias-King wedding in Oviedo Spain. 
Martin was fun to be with and a great guy. He will be missed.

My most sincere condolences to all the Lopez family. May God grant Martin's soul peace and may he grant his loved ones strength to accept his will.  Martin's memory has now become a treasure.

Our sincerest prayers and condolences to all of the Lopez family.  When I first met Martin many years ago he welcomed me into his family and large circle of friends and made me feel like I belonged.  Laugh laugh laugh!  It was so much fun being part of the "Es Todo" basketball dynasty.  After the games talking trash, no one and no subject was off limits from the hilarious and good natured ribbing, and Martin could take it as well as he could give it out.  I seriously wet myself laughing more than once.  Through all the cookouts, "washa" tournaments, "business" meetings that ended past midnight and crazy road trips, Martin was one of the best natured and charming souls I have ever met.  Did I mention laugh?  We laughed at every turn in the road.  Martin loved life almost as much as he loved his family and friends.  Martin was without a doubt one of the finest, kindest and generous people I have ever met and it has been a joy and a priviledge to be one of his friends and he made me feel like I am part of his family.  Thank you Martin, I love you with all my heart.  Go Cowboys!
