Mary R Ellsworth, age 83, of El Paso, Texas passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022. Mary was born May 23, 1938. Retired Teacher El Paso Independent School District. Charter member and Elder at University Presbyterian Church. Active in the Fellowship Committee, Christian Education including Sunday School teacher and Vacation Bible School. Volunteer for the Opportunity Center for the Homeless Casa de Abuelitas.
Preceded in death by Arnold Edward Ellsworth - husband of 50 years, sisters Frances Brown and Marcia Smith.
Survived by children Julie Shook (Greg), Andrew Ellsworth (Katie) Amy Lindsley (Trent), and Jeff Ellsworth. Also survived by siblings Al Ricker, Joan Batchelder, and seven grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 14, 2022, at University Presbyterian Church, 244 N Resler Dr. A private interment will be held at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
