Matthew Eric Camlin

May 8th 1974 - March 5th 2022

Matthew grew up in the Waterloo Iowa area and spent some time in Pittsburg then moved to El Paso Texas, where he resided for over 25 years.

Matt was a family type of guy and cherished all his friends and family. He was a fun guy who loved to laugh and make life fun.

Matt enjoyed making others feel special and was a giving type of person. He was known for his voice impersonations and a warm smile. He was fortunate to have great friends and enjoyed barbecuing outside, riding his motorcycle, working on cars and electronics, he could fix anything. He especially loved his music and his idol Eddie Van Hallen. He loved playing his guitars and had the opportunity to play out in bands throughout his years.

Matt proudly served in the US Air Force and toured Egypt.

Matt is survived by his father, Ronald Camlin, his sister, Angie Camlin; niece, Amanda Sichra-Sweerin w/family; his brother in arms, Michael Balluch w/family & his girlfriend Monica Hernandez w/family, Aunts, Uncles and cousins.

Matt is proceeded in death by his mother, Janet Mae Pyle-Sweet, his Grandmothers, Grandfathers, uncles and cousins.

Memorial service will be at Martin Funeral Home, 1460 George Dieter Dr., El Paso TX 79936.

There will be a Military burial at Fort Bliss at a later date.
