Merle you were a husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, brother-in-law, and friend to all of us. Thank you. On the day you went to Our Lord, it was Flag Day. What a beautiful day to leave us. You were once a soldier fighting for our country and you left fighting as a soldier to the very end. Thank you. Our flag represents Courage, Honor, and Dignity. All of these traits were instilled in you. Thank you. We are so proud of you and thank you for touching each and every one of us in our own special way. Thank you for the kindness, love and always just being there. You are now parading on the streets of Gold, walking hand in hand with Our Lord as we rejoice with you forever in peace. Until we meet again. Thank You. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 19, 2011 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Martin Funeral Home West. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 20, 2011 at 12:00 PM at Martin Funeral Home West. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson, with Full Military Honors. Services entrusted to Martin Funeral Home West. 128 N. Resler Dr. El Paso TX 79912. www.MartinFuneralHomeWest.com
