

Miguel (Mike) Agustin Calderon, 83, passed away on September 2, 2015. He was born in El Paso, Texas on September 27, 1931. Mr. Calderon served in the U.S. Army as a Sergeant assigned to the 45th Infantry Division in Korea. He had been employed with Phelps Dodge Copper Refinery where he retired after 42 years of service. Mr. Calderon was preceded in death by his siblings, Maria Elena, Armando, and Maria Teresa. He is survived by his loving wife, Isabel Calderon of 39 years of marriage; his children, Miguel Calderon, Jesus Calderon, Christian Calderon and Brenda Southern; his grandchildren, Marissa, Diego, Michael, Matthew, Christopher, and Noah. Mr. Calderon is also survived by his siblings, Fernando, Leonardo, Rosa, and Humberto. Special thanks goes out to Providence Memorial Hospital, Dr. Abraham Gonzalez at El Paso Heart Center, Dr. Mohammed Alnajjar, Dr. Diane Demick, and Envision Home Healthcare. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 9, 2015 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm at Harding- Orr & McDaniel Funeral Home, 320 Montana Ave. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, September 10, 2015, 9:45 am at St. Pius X Catholic Church; 1050 N.
