Mildred Maudesta Washington, 88, loving grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt, was born to Robert & Minnie Hunter, in El Paso, TX on October 22, 1926, passed away on her late husband of 56 years birthday, Tuesday September 22, 2015. Mildred traveled the world and loved playing slot machines & Bingo and visiting her favorite city Las Vegas, Nevada. She is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Washington, daughter, Geretta Summerville, her beloved 2 sisters and 2 brothers. Mildred is survived by her daughter Alesa Roby, granddaughters, Tasha Thomas & Latricia Summerville. Three great-grandchildren Shayla Roby, Alyssa Thomas and Jayda Mistretta, her beloved nephew Johnny Arnsworth, and a host of Family and Friends. Her gracious nature and off-beat sense of humor will be greatly missed. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 pm on Sunday, September 27, 2015 at Hillcrest Funeral Home-Carolina.
