

Minerva Lopez, aka MiniLo, passed away peacefully the morning of Friday, August 23, 2024, with the love of her family surrounding her, at the age of 75.
We thank God for blessing our family with a woman who was our pillar of strength and compassion. She was known for her unwavering support and love for life!
She will forever be remembered for her lively spirit and her “do it her way” mentality. Her loved ones would describe her as a force of nature who embodied courage, strength, kindness and faith. She lived passionately, fearlessly, and always seeking a new adventure. Her bright energy was something that people naturally gravitated toward, and she will be truly missed.
She is survived by her husband, Jose Roberto (Bobby) Lopez. Her daughter, Miriam Saavedra and son-in-law Rafael Saavedra, her son David Salazar Jr. and daughter-in-law Sandra Salazar, grandchildren Crystal, Kassandra, Natalie, Alecsandra, Vanessa and David III., great-grandchildren, Daniel Jr., David IV, Gabriella, Kylie, Avery, Mateo and Ember and numerous family members and friends. MiniLo was pre-deceased by her mother Esperanza Vargas and siblings Yolanda, Armida and Isaias Jr.
On Friday August 30, 2024 visitation will be from 5 PM – 7 PM following a prayer service at 7 PM at Hillcrest Funeral Home.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday August 31, 2024 at St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church.
