MSG Mark Anthony Seipel, U.S. Army (Ret.) beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on June 23, 2026, at age 65. Born on November 30, 1960, in Cudahy, Wisconsin, to Clarence and Isabel Seipel. He was a man whose presence and passion were felt in everything he did.
He spent his career serving in the U.S. Army and defending his country, but his greatest pride was always the people he loved. He taught by example, showing unwavering loyalty and a sense of humor that could lighten even the hardest days.
To his family, he was a source of wisdom and support. To all who knew him, he showed that strength, determination, and resilience could live within one person.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Kelly Seipel, his daughters, Shannon Lampman and Lindsey Hernandez. His son-in laws are Justin Lampman and Pedro Hernandez and grandsons Mark Alarcon, Jeremy Lampman, Jacob Hernandez, and Caleb Hernandez. His siblings Mike Seipel, Tim Seipel, Sharon Wagner, and Lisa Dvorak who will carry forward his stories, lessons, and love.
A service honoring his life will be held on Thursday July, 2nd, 2026 at Martin Funeral Home West located at 128 N Resler Dr., El Paso, Texas 79912 from 10:00am to 1:00pm, church service starts at 12:00pm and a procession to Ft. Bliss National Cemetery will follow at 2:00pm with full military honors.
Pallbearers will be Justin Lampman, Pedro Hernandez, Mark Alarcon, Jeremy Lampman, Doug Seipel, Rick Dworczyk.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Earl Wagner, Shawn Dworczyk, Jacob Hernandez, Caleb Hernandez.
