

Naomi Cubillos, a beloved daughter, mother, sister, aunt, friend and grandmother passed away April 19, 2026 at the age of 43. Naomi carried a lifelong love and pride for the people who shaped her life and for her hometown El Paso.
Naomi was known for her loving and giving spirit, always placing the needs of others before her own. Her kindness, warmth, and genuine care for those around her made her the source of comfort and strength to many. She possessed a compassionate heart and a gentle presence that left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Professionally and personally, Naomi was devoted to helping others. She found great purpose in mentoring and supporting individuals struggling with drug and alcohol addiction. Through patience, encouragement, and understanding, she guided many toward hope and healing. Naomi deeply valued her work family at Breathe Free and treasured the friendships and connections she built throughout her career. Naomi was actively involved with her local ministry The Way in San Antonio, where she faithfully dedicated her time and efforts to supporting her community and uplifting others through ministry and service.
Naomi was an avid reader and enjoyed writing poetry, expressing her thoughts and creativity through words. She had a special love for cats and found happiness in the world of Pokemon and Pokemon Go. Naomi also loved nature and recently got into bird watching, finding peace and beauty in observing the wild life she dearly loved. She often told her children that when she passed away, she would visit them in the form of a butterfly.
She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her. May she always live on in those who cherished her.
She is survived by her children Isaiah A. Perez, Vicente Aaron Perez, Aiden X. Perez, and Iris Nyda Robinson; her grandson, Vicente Andres Perez; her siblings David A Cubillos, Manuel Cubillos, Eduardo Cubillos, and Rosalia Cubillos.
A Memorial Service for Naomi will be Tuesday, June 16, 2026 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Vigil Service at 7:00 pm at Crestview Funeral Home, 1462 North Zaragoza Rd., El Paso, Texas 79936. A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at 10:00 am at St. Frances Xavier Cabrini, 12200 Vista Del Sol Drive, El Paso, Texas 79936. Services will conclude thereafter.
