Nora R. Barriga

Nora Rice Barriga, went to be with the Lord on April 5th 2015. She was born on February 25th 1938 in Marfa, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband Efren Barriga and her son Rene Barriga. She is survived by her children Nora Jean Molina, Albert Barriga, Joel and wife Gail Barriga, her beloved grandchildren Liana Molina and Chioke Clanton, Matthew Rice and wife Stephanie, Israel Nares and his mother Gloria Nares, Cody Barriga and wife Courtney, Candace Harvey and husband Jordan, her sister Margaret Martinez, nieces, nephews, friends and her dog Precious. Nora was a beautiful, strong, loyal, and generous woman. She was a die-hard fan of the Dallas Cowboys & the Spurs. She showed kindness to everyone she met. Her faith was undeniable. She will truly be missed. A Vigil will be held at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 North Carolina on Friday, April 10th at 3:00 p.m. Mass will be held at Little Flower Church on Saturday, April 11th at 10:15 am. She loved the Lord, her family, friends, and had a special love for her grandchildren. The family would like to extend a thank you to all family and friends who sent love and prayers our way.
