Norma Colbert Golden

Rejoice in celebration of my mother’s life. On Monday, March 7, 2016 our Lord carried my mother Norma Colbert Golden home. She is finally at peace. She was a strong unselfish and amazing woman who suffered with progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) for the past 3 years. She was a wonderful grandmother of two beautiful girls Katrina and Brianna whom she loved with all her heart. She was a great mother –in-la w and godmother to Adrian. She was the funny younger sister to Margie De la Torre, Hilaria Herrera, Jenny Larrazolo and Helen Valenzuela. She was an unselfish, caring, and loving mother to Tania. Mom, you can finally walk, drink your beer with lime, eat your hamburger and smile again. We will forever miss you. I love you all the moons and the stars.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 10, 2016 from 5 – 9 pm with the Vigil at 7:00 pm at Martin Funeral Home West Chapel. A Funeral mass will be held on Friday, March 11, 2016 at 8:00 am at St. Patrick Cathedral, 1118 N. Mesa St. 79902, followed by the Internment at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery at 9:30 am.
