Ofelia Cordova

October 11, 1937February 28, 2011

Our treasured Ofelia Cordova, age 73, born in Barstow, California and long time resident of El Paso, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 28th 2011, surrounded by family and extended family who dearly loved her. Beloved wife of 54 years to Richard Cordova; loving mother of Connie (Richard) Velasco, Steve (RoseAnna) Cordova, Paula Venegas, Laura (Joe) Marquez, Richard David (Edna) Cordova, Thomas (Janice) Cordova; cherished grandmother of 16 grandchildren; and dear sister to Maria Valenzuela, Andrea San Miguel, Danny, Louie and Richard Mata. Pallbearers will be Richard, Steve, Joshua, Thomas and Richard David Cordova, Joe and Joseph Marquez and Richard Velasco.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2011 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Martin Funeral Home East, with a rosary service at 4:30 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, March 7, 2011, 9:00 a.m. at Little Flower Catholic Church, 171 Polo Inn Rd.

Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.

I did not get to know your mom very well but from the times I did get to see her and talk to her I could tell she was the kindest lady who loved her family very much.
