I will miss you so much. Thank you for being such a great grandma and great-grandma to my girls. I have so many good memories of you. Taking care of me and my brother, cooking for us ( getting after me for not eating my food), being at our games, vacations and so many more. Thank you. We love you!

Our Most Precious Matriarch, Our Queen, Our Angel , Our Mother. You will be Missed Tremendously. You have touched so many Hearts. You were a Kind, Loving, Sophisticated, Elegant Woman. I am so Proud (fortunate) to say that You are my Mom. You were such a hard working Woman whom would take 2 buses to work and 2 buses back home. It didn't matter if it was raining, snowing, lighting or if the wind was blowing. You sacrificed Yourself to take care of your 5 Children.  And You did this alone. You never got help from anyone. It's beyond me, how you did it and you made sure that we always had what we needed. Fortunately we never went without. Thank You Mommy. One memory I Love so much is how You would tell me stories of your upbringing and more. With every story, I was in awe. You and I could talk for hours. I will miss all all that and much more. I am very fortunate for all the advice and all the things you thought me. I will carry those with me for the rest of my life and so will my Children and Grandchildren because, I've now instilled those stories into their memories. Your legacy will go on forever. I remember when you had your days off from work, you actually worked harder on your days offs. You'd cook, clean, wash and iron and after everything you still had time to spent with us. How you did it all is beyond me. I will miss your bizcochos you use to make us, along with all the great stuff you'd cook. All in all Mom you were the Perfect Mother and We, your Children were extremely lucky. What gives me comfort is knowing that you will be with The Family and Fluffy in the House of Our Lord. Fly High Mommy, for We will all be together one day. I miss you. I Love and Adore You,  Till next time..💜😘🌹

My beautiful grandma! I love you so much! Words could never do justice to express the amazing woman and Matriarch you were.  I will always remember the amazing stories you told us growing up. That was always my anticipation staying the night...what stories is grandma gonna tell and what are we gonna make together? My favorite part was when it was just us 2 hanging out at the house, nothing special just being around you. Even tho I was younger I always appreciated those moments. Thank you for sparking my creative nature! You are the most amazing, blunt, hardworking, beautiful woman I have ever known. Grandma thank you for you! For without you we would not exist. We have amazing lives and beautiful families because of your advice and guidance but more importantly because of the sacrifices you made in your life for your family. Thank you for all the little lessons you taught me and all the advice you gave me, especially when Skye was a baby. I still hear you in my head with your words of wisdom.....the blunter the better! I will miss you tremendously and carry you in my heart always. We love you! Rest peacefully Grandma!

My Tia was my teacher in many ways . As her niece, hairstylist, daughter.. Sje taught me so many things... like making Mexican rice..Het calabcitas were the bomb.  Get stories. Growing up in The Segundo Barrio. Has made me a proud  MONTES. Love you Tia , see you again❤️  We all love you .. Juniors kids and grandkids.

I just want to say that I was a lucky person to be accepted by grandma Lay. I meet her when I was a kid. She welcomed me as if I was one of her grand kids. She  would make little comments in Spanish that were just funny.. Very honest woman. Sweet. Caring. Loving. All the years I spent around her was a blessing.  Thank you Grandma Lay for the love you showed me. May you rest in peace.. to Ms. Motion, Jackie,Norman I am sorry for your lost. I love you guys and wish I could be there to support you all. My Tia Ofie, I loved you very much.  Everybody loved you.  You were a very good and fine lady.  I remember you were always a hard working woman raising five children on your own.  In addition to that, you were always helping others and sharing your home and meals.  You were always very good to me, and I will always remember that.  You will  now be with your sisters, brothers and parents in Glorious Heaven.  The Montes family is now complete for you were the last sibling.  Tia,  you had your good days and bad days.  But in Heaven, the Bible tells us that from now on you will have good days.  No more pain, no more suffering or worries.  My Mom Lilia, your sister, was also a good and fine woman and I loved her so much.  She loved you dearly.    She was beautiful like you.   When you took your last breath on earth, we were all sad, very sad.  But when you took your first breath in heaven, we felt your joy as the angels carried you to your Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ.  This is glorious!
