Oscar was born on May 21st, 1974 in El Paso, TX. His ability to follow God’s calling, lead him to become the most selfless version of himself. He is a Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus at St. Marks Catholic Church. He lived his ACTS retreat in 2017 and served on many others. Those that had the pleasure of knowing him were certainly blessed.
He started off in the electrical supply house, and worked his way up to the counter sales. In turn this lead him to become outside sales. He then ventured out on his own and created a lighting supply company named OvO Sales & Fabrication. Which he took great pride in as well as it becoming very successful. He could sell ice to an Eskimo!
From his infectious laugh, smile and BIG heart, to his witty personality; he loved all and was never afraid to try new things. He was always willing to donate his time to help others, no matter what it was. His ability to bring laughter to your soul until it hurt, was like no one you ever meet.
Every party, every gathering, he was the center of attention and had a story for “EVERYTHING.”
From DJ your wedding, quince or just in the backyard listening to his favorite JAMZ. He loved life, adored his wife, his girls and grand children, his family, friends and all he knew.
His legacy will never be forgotten and will forever be stamped in our hearts. We will carry you everywhere we go and you will never be forgotten!

He is survived by his beloved wife; Christine De Rego-Muñiz,
His daughters; Amanda Michelle De Rego, Vivian Sarai Muñiz (Hector Moran), Lisa Marie Muñiz and Savannah Jorgi Muñiz.
His mother; Conception Lucero- Muñiz His father; Jose Angel Muñiz.
His brother and sisters; Jose Angel Muñiz Jr. (Mary Helen Muniz), Patricia Muñiz- Capps, Melinda Maldonado (Frank Maldonado) and Angelique Muñiz.
His beloved grand children; Jaida Ivory De Rego-Rios, Jayden Anthony Perez, Penelope Anaie Perez and Stella Amarii Moran.
