OVIDIO (Ovi) NAVARRO, 56, passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2021. Ovi was born on June 7, 1964 in El Paso, Texas to his parents, Gildardo Navarro and Carmen Navarro. He was a lifelong resident of El Paso, Texas. He attended and graduated from Ysleta High School, Class of 1983. He worked various jobs including, Providence Memorial Hospital, El Paso Tool and Die Co. and Walmart. He was a big Dallas Cowboys and Oklahoma Sooners fan. His all time favorite bands were Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and The Beatles to name a few.

He was a great, loving and devoted son, brother, brother in law, uncle, Godfather, and above all, a true friend for life to all that knew him. He had a great sense of humor, and always had a way of cheering anyone up when they were feeling down. His friendship was endless and boundless. He would gladly help anyone and take the shirt off his back to do so. He loved his family dearly.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gildardo Navarro and survived by his mother, Carmen Navarro. brother, Gil Navarro, sister and brother-in-law, Norma and Terry Holsapple Jr. Nephew, Rick Chavez and his fiancé Mia Bigliardi. Nieces, Carol Chavez and Donna Holsapple. Second Nephew, Luke Vasquez. Second Niece, Evelyn Chavez. He will be greatly missed and live on in our hearts forever. May the Lord be your guide on your journey to God’s heavenly kingdom and may you Rest In Peace. We Love You!

Visitation: Wednesday, June 16, 2021, 3:00pm- 7:00pm, Vigil /Rosary at 5:00pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church. Rite of committal will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
