Our Daddy Paul has been such a great blessing in my life. I will always cherish  the memories of the times we all enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune together. (He often was the first to guess the phrase!)  We had many laughs around the dinner table listening to the funny stories he would tell about when he was growing up with his brothers and sisters. He also shared some of his more serious experiences when serving in the Merchant  Marines on the Victory Ship. I really enjoyed the times that we discussed design, innovation and patent ideas. He was very creative, and I will truly miss these fun discussions!  Some of the more precious memories are the times we walked through the front door and noticed his joyful glance from across the room; his warmth and kindness were always so welcoming. The times we spent together were so precious. (The Precious Present!) I will always cherish wonderful memories of our Daddy Paul! Rest In Peace Our Beloved!

To Dr Worley's Family  

He was my dentist  from the time I was a young child until he retired.  He was super kind and gentle and a wonderful  dentist.  Mrs MacDonald  was also my music teacher at  Edgemere.  I am so sorry for your loss.

Since the day I was born, my Grandfather was always there for me.  I believe I stayed  in the hospital for about 6 weeks and everyday he would be there watching over me and making sure I was making progress.  DaddyPaul was a kind and giving man.  I remember he would take me to go play putt, putt golf and we would be there for hours and he would just be so happy to make me happy. That’s just how he was; it would bring him great joy to make people smile.  He was by far, the coolest  person in my eyes. I thought it was so cool, all the random things he would find from his thrift store adventures. I thought his el caminos he had were so cool when I was a kid, not to mention; he was an amazing golfer. 
He had a very easygoing and calm vibe to him, I aspired to be just like him. My Grandfather was one cool guy! 
I will always remember the fun times and memories made at the cabin (my favorite place in the world), showing me how to make popcorn from actual kernels on the stove top with the popcorn maker and stirring that handle until the sounds of the kernels had stopped. 
My list of memories are endless with DaddyPaul.  He was a beautiful human being and I will miss him dearly.  I now share my memories and stories of him with my daughter and it brings a smile to my face every time we talk about him, and will continue with my son as well. I wish my son had a chance to create memories with him, but they will live on through us. DaddyPaul has touched so many lives and did so many great things. I think about him everyday and I know he is smiling looking down on all of us.  
I love you, I miss you, you will always and forever be in our hearts. Thank you for being such a great role model and an amazing human being.

I always loved Dad’s grilled cheese sandwiches! They were the best! I am glad he shared his recipe so I can carry on the tradition!  Love you, Dad!!

I am going to miss my grandfather dearly. He taught me many things in my life growing up, one being how to drive a standard. I believe we were in some sort of station wagon he had at the time, in Cloud Croft heading up the hill towards the lodge. Now, back then it was not a paved road and pretty funny  because the car kept slipping on the rocks, but he never gave up on me and eventually I got the hang of it. He absolutely loved animals and I loved how many turtles he had in the back yard when he lived in El Paso. I'm pretty sure he took my grandmother's red nail polish and marked each turtle on the shell so he could keep track of them. There are so many things I miss about my Daddy Paul.

My father taught me never to give up and always persevere and stay the course. We enjoyed working on jigsaw puzzles, thinking of new inventions, working on projects around the house, and sipping on wine while watching the evening news and Wheel of Fortune. Great memories! I will truly miss him! "I will see you in Heaven someday! I love you, Dad!!"

This is a sad memory for all of us to share, especially  you LaRue and  his  family, for I know he loved  all  of you so much.  I always felt so close to this special brother and could depend on his advise.  Just remember he will be watching over you to keep you secure, I really believe this.  Love to all of you!

Paul is my brother. He as a very young boy was a great help to our Dad on the farm. I especially remember him as he helped build a corn crib and he often got the horses out of the barn and ready to plow the fields. For a poor boy who grew up in the mountains of western NC, Paul did his family proud.
