Paulina Castillo, a woman of radiant grace, unwavering faith, and immense strength, was called home to Our Lord on March 8, 2026. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by the family who was the center of her universe. Until her very last breath, she fought with a selfless resilience that defined her character and inspired all who knew her.
A devout Catholic, Paulina lived her life as a true testament to the Gospel. Her kindness was her calling, and her selflessness was a gift she gave freely to her family, her church, her friends, and her community. She devoted 25 years of dedicated service to the City of El Paso, carrying out her work with unwavering commitment.
As a devoted wife to Seone Jones, she built a home rooted in deep partnership, faith, and enduring love. As a mother to Christina (José) and Karina (Ricardo), and a stepmother to Michael, she offered fierce protection, wise guidance, and a love that knew no boundaries. Her role as a grandmother to Francisco, Sofia, and Benjamin was her favorite chapter, where she poured her sweet spirit onto the next generation.
Paulina was also a cherished daughter, daughter in-law, sister in-law, a loyal sister to her seven brothers and one sister, and a beloved aunt to her many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother Elva Castillo.
