Rachel is preceded in death by her husband Guillermo (Nono) Davis; and her sisters Sara Combs and Esperanza Juarez and her son-in-law George H. Garza.
Rachel is survived by her daughter Vera Lynn Zubia (Ignacio); and her daughter Debra Davis Garza.
She is also survived by her grandchildren; Rachel M. Villalobos (Joe), Theresa L. Zubia, Timothy W. Zubia, and Camille R. Garza, her great-grandchildren; Rebecca (Jeremiah), Erynn (Allen), James (Stephanie), Zachary, Renee, Joseph (Adriana) her great-great grandchildren; Maygen, Zoe, JJ, Micah, Allen, AJG, Avery, Jameson, and Cassidy, Dante, Devon, Desmond, Jacob, Alina, Alayah and her brother Amador Chavez, as well as several nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.
A visitation for Rachel will be held Monday, December 4, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 North Carolina Dr., El Paso, Texas 79915. A funeral service will occur Monday, December 4, 2023 at 1:00 PM, 1060 North Carolina Dr., El Paso, Texas 79915. An interment will occur Monday, December 4, 2023 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, TX 79906.
