Rafaela C. Hernandez, beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away on Friday, April 4, 2014. Born on November 4, 1940 in El Paso, Texas she loved to dance and go to sporting events. Faye was a loyal member of the Bowie Golden Bears Social Club and touched the lives and hearts of many. She is survived by her husband Cruz Hernandez Jr., 3 children; Jenny Sandoval, Myrna Valenzuela (Ephren), Sammy Hernandez, and brother Cruz (Coors) Ramos (Gloria). The Hernandez family would like to thank Dr. A. Ugarte and Miguel Caro for their attending care for Faye. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 from 5pm until 9pm with the Rosary at 7pm at Hillcrest Funeral Home Funeral. Mass will be on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at San Antonio Catholic Church at 11:45am followed by interment at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Funeral Services under the direction of Hillcrest Funeral Home 1060 N. Carolina El Paso, Texas 79915.
