Ralph Chiocco Sr. was born on May 14, 1940 in Brooklyn, NY. he holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Arts and Theology as well as a Bachelor of Philosophy.
He was married to his wife, Silvia Chiocco, for more than 50 years. He leaves behind 3 children, 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, Grace Chiocco-Perez married to Stephen Perez, from Collierville,TN, Ralph Chiocco married to Annabella Chiocco Molins from Seattle, WA and Cecilia Mathews, married to Toby Mathews from Dothan, AL. He is also survived by his brother, Dennis Chiocco from South Carolina.
Ralph was actively involved with his church Sacred Heart in El Paso, TX and St. Columba in Dothan, AL. He founded the Paws for Love to bring therapy dogs to children and adults.
Ralph D. Chiocco was a corporate security professional. He served his country throughout the world as a Commissioned Foreign Service Officer with the U.S. Department of State. He was an American diplomat in Egypt, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Sweden, Cuba, Grenada, Mexico, Spain, and Lebanon. He is a graduate of the War College. He also helped establish the Office of Foreign Missions and served in Washington and New York. His duties focused principally on national security and administrative management. In addition to his studies at the War College, he holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Arts and Theology as well as a Bachelor of Philosophy. He served for 11 years as Director of Latin America for Microsoft and as the CSO of a multinational gas company with offices in Mexico, Switzerland, Spain, and Latin America.
