Dear Ramon,
I am always going to have you with me, you were and always will be the Love of my Life. I never thought that you would leave me like this with a broken heart. You always were the strong one who took care of us as a Family. Your simplest touch or warm hug in the hardest times healed all wounds. Even just as recent as our last in person encounter together at your Doctor's appointment just a few weeks ago. Even then you were already preparing me, you stared at me and you scooted over for me and gently padded the empty spot next to your bed and you asked me “Sit with Me and Lets Hold Hands”. You proceeded to tell me you always wanted me to be by your side and gave me a kiss to go along with it. That moment made me happy and sad at the same time because to me it felt like you were trying to say goodbye without hurting me. Then our last phone call, you thought I was in the room with you, you made me feel so loved that day. We will Always be Closer than Ever Ramon.
Only God knows how much I wish we could be Together right now, I never thought this day would come. I know God said come with me My Son Ramon, your Loving Parents have been waiting for you. My heart is hurting for you but I will always be grateful that God didn’t let you suffer and that makes me very happy you don’t have to worry about me cause your Sons, Ray and Miguel are making sure I am taken care of and not alone. Like you always said “Como son Buenos Muchachos”.
I Love You and Forever & Have you in my Heart.
Tu Geraldina,
-Geraldine V. Borrego-Wife
