Rawleigh Louis (Louie) Emler, 77, died peacefully at home surrounded by family. He is preceded in death by his son Luchie. Survived by his beloved wife Jessie, his daughter Donna(Joey), grandsons Jon-Carlo, Joshua and Jordan, siblings Paul Emler, Betty Najera, Bessie Myers and Shirley Anaya. Louie was a retired sheet metal worker from Local Union 49, a brother of the Knights of Columbus (Council #11864), a fisherman, a hunter, and a Dallas Cowboys fan. He will be missed by all who knew him. Pallbearers, Jon-Carlo Diaz, Jose Granillo, Vale De La Cruz, Rawleigh M. Emler, Tommy Emler, Jr., Jay Myers, Mando Flores, and George Quintana. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 31, 2017 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 North Carolina Dr. with Vigil/Rosary at 7:00pm. Funeral Mass will be Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
