One of my more unsavory habits developed since my retirement is reading the daily obituaries. Maybe to make sure I'm not listed, or more likely because more and more of my friends and acquaintances are showing up. Still, I was saddened to see your family included. I lost my dad at 60, and it's way too soon to go. I hope you and the kids (and grandkids) take comfort in each other. Look forward to happier days, as they'll eventually reappear, even with an ongoing sense of loss
